City content

Summaries, descriptions, and photographs come from Wikipedia, available under CC BY-SA 4.0. Every result links back to its source article. City classification (deciding what actually counts as a city) is powered by Wikidata, also available under CC0.

Map

Map tiles are CARTO Positron and Dark Matter, built on OpenStreetMap data © OpenStreetMap contributors. The map itself is rendered with Leaflet, an open-source JavaScript library available under the BSD-2-Clause license.

Type

Set in Young Serif and Work Sans, both served by Google Fonts under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
